2022-2023 Highlights

  • Worked with organizations within our community to address systemic and structural inequities by partnering with local government, non-profit and for-profit organizations to identify obstacles and inequities and to create measurable methods to allow for more equitable and inclusive practices that will benefit the communities they serve.
  • Added pilot program, “Latinx in Telecom,” an industry specific training led by Ibero-American Action League and UnidosUS. This training will give participants the tools necessary to be successful in a rewarding career opportunity. 
  • Helped create anti-racist curriculum to provide professional development to the teachers and administrators within the Rochester City School District.

Organizations served: Rochester City School District, The Urban League of Rochester, YWCA, Monroe County Criminal Justice Council, Climate Solutions Accelerator of the Genesee Finger Lakes region, RASE Commission, Latino Health Coalition with Common Ground Health, Rochester Ecology Partners, the R.E.A.L team and other organizations.

RCSD Diversity Equity Inclusion training
