Community Health Worker Apprenticeship & Training
We provide cohort-style training for those wanting to learn and become Community Health Workers.
Eligibilty:
- Has to be employed by Ibero
- Gain experience and provide supervision to gain direct learning about CHW employment (2,000 working hours)
- Formal training with CHWAR (Community Health Workers Association of Rochester)
- List of Active Sponsors | Department of Labor

Training provided through NYS Department of Labor.
Ibero is one of only seven agencies in NYS that provide apprenticeship and training for CHW aspiring professionals that are revolutionizing the healthcare industry.
We have an active partnership with Community Health Workers Association of Rochester, which supprts graduates seeking a job in the healthcare field.
