IBERO ANNOUNCES NEW CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ibero-American Action League announced today that Erika Green will become the agency’s new chief program officer. She will have executive and operational oversight of Ibero’s divisions and services in the Rochester region. Her position is a redesign from the agency’s chief operating officer position, to better suit Ibero’s expanding programs.
Green has an extensive background in human services delivery, organizational development, program operations and regulatory compliance. She previously served as the vice president of Prime Care Coordination, with responsibilities in leadership and administration of training and development, human resources, quality, compliance and several other strategic initiatives. Green was key in transitioning Medicaid service coordinators from several agencies across New York State to be care managers under Prime Care.
“Ibero has always been an organization I have loved and identified with,” said Green. “It’s long-standing history and reputation for providing services to the Latino Community is unmatched. To have the honor to fully embrace my culture and give back to my community in this way is beyond exciting. I hope to have a positive impact on helping Ibero grow and develop into an even stronger organization.”
Green has a master of science in strategic leadership from Roberts Wesleyan College and a bachelor of science in psychology and political science from St. John Fisher College. She is also an adjunct professor at Monroe Community College. Green will begin her position with Ibero-American Action League on January 27, 2020.
