IBERO SPONSORS ANNUAL COAT GIVEAWAY.
CONTINUES TO HELP RECENT ARRIVALS FROM PUERTO RICO.
Rochester, N.Y. – The Ibero-American Action League is sponsoring its sixth annual coat giveaway for residents in need during the winter months. The event is co-sponsored by MVP Health, UPNY Planet Aid, Nazareth College and United Way of Greater Rochester-Latino Leadership Development Program.
The event will take place on November 23 at 11 a.m. at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School, located at 27 Zimbrich St. in Rochester. Items are first-come-first-serve and the giveaway will end once all items have been taken.
A number of recipients are expected to be new arrivals from Puerto Rico, part of a continued flow of residents leaving due to the effects from Hurricane Maria.
